HVD Series

Precision high voltage dividers

High-input-impedance dividers for DC measurements from 50 to 500 kV. Standard toroidal models provide 0.2% accuracy, corona-free operation at rated voltage, and a direct low-voltage output for high-impedance measurement instrumentation.

Output taps shown for the 100-500 kV toroidal models are scaled at 1 V per 100 kV. HVD50E output scaling and connection are confirmed for the measurement system. Confirm the final HVD100 configuration with Gamma before ordering.

Ordering guide

Select the mechanical model and temperature coefficient. For 100-500 kV toroidal models, the S suffix appears immediately before the height designation.

For the compact 50 kV divider, use HVD50E for the standard version or HVD50ES for the S version.

Compact 50 kV divider

Gamma HVD50E compact enclosed high voltage divider

HVD50E / HVD50ES

Compact enclosed dividers rated for 50 kV DC with 1000 MΩ input impedance and 10 kΩ output impedance. HVD50E is the standard version; HVD50ES provides the 25 ppm/°C temperature coefficient.

The enclosure measures 6.36 x 5.2 x 3.13 in. Output scaling, connector, and cable should be confirmed with Gamma for the required measurement system.
